Alexandria Slider, Owner

Soul the Salon was brought to life by hair stylist Alexandria Slider. At age six, Alexandria successfully nailed her first braids, imitating her mother braiding her twin sister's hair. Barbie and anything/one with hair was up for expanding the skills of this young couiffeuse. Ten years later Alexandria began her naturally founded career as a stylist by attending Gene Juarez Cosmetology School, in Seattle WA. She then went on to further educate at the Gene Juarez Advanced Training Salon as a designer, soon after welcomed into the company's flagship salon.

After two years of intense continuing education classes and a year of working with the Team Artistic, Alexandria's cutting and styling skills had taken off. It was now time to branch out and lay the pavement for Soul. Three years of working for the Man, Alexandria left the company; attend college and beginning her own brand of styling. Well received by the neighborhood of Belltown, her clientele diversified. Alexandria continued to educate herself, working with industry greats, quality product lines, and local charitable organizations.

In 2004 Alexandria was deemed by Seattle Magazine, as Belltown's "It Girl". Word on the street, Alexandria's cuts, quality service, understanding, and care for all textures was supreme. Her styling skills and service have created a demand that is sought after nation wide, being request for styling from east to west coast, even Spain to Japan. The stage was set, in April 2007, there was the soft opening of Soul the Salon.
